Victron Energy Lynx Smart BMS 500 AMP

The Lynx Smart BMS is a dedicated Battery Management System for Victron Lithium Smart Batteries. There are multiple BMS-es available for our Smart Lithium series of batteries, and the Lynx Smart is the most feature rich and complete option. It is available in two versions: 500A (with M8 busbar connections) and 1000A (with M10 busbar connections).

The main features are:

Built-in 500A or 1000A contactor used as a fallback safety mechanism and also suitable as a remote controllable main system switch.
Battery monitor, indicating state of charge percentage and more data.
Pre-alarm signal: provide a warning before the system shuts down due to -for example- a low cell.
Bluetooth for use with our VictronConnect App, for setup and monitoring, including Instant Readout – key data of the BMS at-a-glance.
Local and remote monitoring using a Victron GX device, for example the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX.

The Lynx Smart BMS is part of the modular Lynx Distribution system.

Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 is an all-in-one battery monitor, only without a display. Your phone acts as the display. Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more. Alternatively, the SmartShunt IP65 can be connected and be read by a Victron Energy GX device. Connection to the Victron Energy SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable. Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 is a good alternative for a Victron Energy BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed but less wiring and clutter is wanted. Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 is equipped with Bluetooth, has a VE.Direct port and an auxiliary connection that can be used to monitor a second battery, for midpoint monitoring, or to connect a temperature sensor. Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 is water resistant and is available in a 500 amp, 1000 amp or 2000 amp version.

The Blue Smart IP22 Charger is the new professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. The Blue Smart IP22 Charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as (classic) cars; motorbikes; boats and camper-vans.

With up to 94 % efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat when compared to the industry standard.
And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption reduces to 0,5 Watt, some five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Absorption, Float and Storage voltages as well as the Recondition setting and the temperature compensation value can be programmed with the Bluetooth app.
After enabling the Expert mode, the app allows changing practically all parameters and time limits used by the charge algorithm.

Li-ion batteries are charged with a simple bulk – absorption – float algorithm.

Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart Isolated DC-DC charger is a professional DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth. For use in dual battery systems in vehicles or on boats where the (smart) alternator and the start battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and can be remotely controlled via a remote on/off switch and has an engine running detection mechanism. Victron Energy Orion Tr-Smart DC-DC charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead acid and lithium batteries. Models are available up to 400W and unlimited multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase output power. If required, Bluetooth can be disabled.

Victron Energy VE.Bus Smart Dongle (Bluetooth)

The VE.Bus Smart dongle is two products in one:

First of all it is the Bluetooth accessory for our range of inverter/chargers: Multis, MultiPlusses, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros, and our series of Phoenix Inverters with a VE.Bus port. When installed, use the VictronConnect App to monitor operation and also operate the system: change the input current limit as well as switch between Off, On and Charger-only modes.

Secondly it can work as a Voltage- and Temperature-sense device for the inverter/charger. This works with all models.

For monitoring, the device is a great alternative in caravans, smaller yachts and motor homes for which the Color Control GX or Venus GX are a step too far.

It also adds Instant Readout to the VE.Bus product and displays the inverter/charger’s key data on the VictronConnect device list page without requiring a connection to the product. This includes visual notifications of warnings, alarms, and errors, allowing for at-a-glance diagnostics.
